FIT-AGAIN Mark Carrington is ready to play his part in what he hopes will be a successful run-in, starting with victory at Barrow tomorrow.

The utility player made his comeback from an ankle injury in Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Eastleigh which leaves the 19th placed Reds two points above the relegation zone with nine games to go.

And Carrington is not fazed by the trip to Holker Street to face the leaders.

“I was out for a bit longer than I first thought I would be which was frustrating but I am pleased to be back,” said Carrington.

“We have got some big games coming up and I want to be part of them and help the lads out, so I am ready to go for a crucial end to the season.

“There is no-one to fear in this league, anyone can beat anyone on their day and a lot of teams are a muchness of a muchness.

“We have done alright against the teams that are up there so we just need to take one game at a time and pick up as many points as we can.

“It doesn’t really matter what Barrow have been up to, we need to go there and put our game onto them, play how we can play and hopefully that will be enough to get the win.”
