DEESIDE DOMINOES continued their fine form with yet another win as Lexi Jones inspired her side to an entertaining 32-17 win against Wrexham Diamonds in the Under 15s league.
The DJs also won convincingly, with Amelia Duff helping her team to a 21-9 victory over North Dragon Firestorm as they begin to put their memories of recent results behind them.
In the Under 14s division, Chester Dynamos outclassed Deeside Doves 17-7, but the Diamonds claimed an emphatic 28-1 win against Boughton Belle Lions with Emily Wilcock receiving the player of the match award.
A determined Deeside Dragonflies U13s side fought hard for a 13-10 success against Mold Toucans in a game where Tilly Aston starred.
Megan Brown helped the Dace to win their U13s fixture – a physical clash with Chester Bandits that ended 19-14 to the Flintshire club.
Deeside Dots U12s ran out comfortable 18-4 winners against Chester Sparks in a game where Hollie Owen picked up the player of the match accolade.
Ninth placed Deeside Dice U11s put in a valiant performance against a highflying Mold Finches, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a 7-4 defeat.
Elsewhere in the division, the Dolphins took on top of the table Boughton Belle Panthers but slipped to a 25-3 reverse against the league leaders.
Deeside Dimples were also beaten by a Boughton Belle side as the Mavericks beat the Flintshire team 7-0 in the under 10s league.
There was a Deeside derby between the Dynamos and the Daredevils in the under 9s division which ended with the sides failing to be separated after a 1-1 draw.
