THE Deeside Dominoes were ruthless in their derby day contest with the Darts as they powered themselves to a thunderous 43-5 win to keep themselves second in the U15s league.

Sienna Jameson claimed the player of the match award for her starring role in the crushing victory that keeps the Dominoes in touch with the league leaders, Deeside DJs.

The DJs, though, maintained their perfect record this season by comfortably seeing off Boughton Belle Jets for their 15th straight win.

Poppy Ellis was handed the player of the match award in the game as she helped the DJs to race into a 20-1 lead at half time, before ending the match 30-3.

Deeside Diamonds U14s had to work for their victory over Holywell Heat with Ruby Ellis helping the Diamonds to a hard fought 13-8 win.

Elsewhere in the division, Hannah Humphreys was impressive for the Doves who secured a 20-3 success over Rhosnesni Regals, while the Dixies claimed their second win in a row.

After winning their first game of the season last week, the Dixies did it again as Lois Wake helped her side to a nail biting 16-14 victory against Mold Hawks.

In the Under 13s league, Sophie Woosey was the player of the match yet again as she inspired the Dragonflies to a 7-4 win over the Mold Toucans.

The Deeside Dace also won as Eluned Rathbone-Jones put in a composed performance to help her team overcome North Dragon Flares 19-6.

Deeside Dots U12s went down to six players for part of their outing against Boughton Belle Leopards due to an injury, and despite battling on the Dots succumbed to a narrow 21-16 reverse to Boughton Belle Leopards.

Deeside Dice U11s were impressive in their game against Mold Kestrels, securing a 9-1 win in a game where Freya Thomas was named player of the match.

With six wins so far this season, the Dice have now doubled their tally compared to last season where they had won only three.

Elsewhere in the league, Deeside Dolphins slipped to 23-2 loss to third placed Chester Cheetahs.

In Under 10s action, the Dimples couldn’t overcome the Mold Eagles as they fell to a 16-1 defeat, while Deeside Dynamos U9s lost 11-0 to Ellesmere Port Rainbows.
