THE Deeside Daredevils are up to fourth in the Under 9s division of the Aura Junior Netball League after they beat the Chester Romans 3-1 in a game where Darcie Bedford claimed the player of the match award.

It wasn’t as good as a result for the Dynamos, though, as they fell to a 4-0 defeat against the Boughton Belle Dolphins.

Deeside Dimples were delighted with their 2-0 success over Rhosnesni Rhinos as Molly Davis helped her side to pick up just their second win of the season in the Under 10s league.

Meanwhile, in the Under 11s division, Deeside Dice suffered a 17-3 reverse against top of the table Boughton Belle Panthers, while the Dolphins were beaten 21-0 by the third placed Mold Finches.

Deeside Dots U12s are just a point off top spot after they claimed a hard-fought 18-11 victory over Wrexham Opal with Hollie Owen playing a starring role.

In the Under 13s league, the Dace were dominant in their crushing 28-2 win over Wrexham Emeralds. Megan Brown was handed the player of the match award as she helped her third placed side stay within three points of the league leaders, Ellesmere Port Flames.

Elsewhere in the division, Deeside Dragonflies missed the chance to move into the top five as they were held to an entertaining 18-18 draw by North Dragons Lightning.

In another closely contested encounter, Deeside Doves U14s narrowly saw off Chester Dynamos as Hannah Humphreys helped her Flintshire team to a 12-10 win.

An unbeaten and top of the league Chester Raiders side were ruthless in their 41-9 victory over Deeside Diamonds, but elsewhere in the division, the Dixies recorded their first win of the season.

Tayha Jeffries won the player of the match award for her performance in the Dixies’ 19-6 success over Boughton Belle Lions.

In the U15s league, table toppers Deeside DJs won again to continue their perfect record as they cruised past Ellesmere Port Blades 34-7 with the player of the match award going to Darcy Hastings.

A second placed Deeside Dominoes kept themselves within touching distance of the DJs, as they scored an incredible 59 goals in their demolition of Rhosnesni Rainbows.

The Dominoes led 30-5 at half time, leaving them on track to score 60 by the end of the game at an average of a goal a minute, but they fell just short of that as the game ended 59-7 to the Flinsthire club with Kellie Murray being named as the player of the match.
