SHEFFIELD UNITED v WEST HAM UNITED

NICK HARRISON: Noble didn’t half respond to boss Moyes’ praise two weeks ago and he could be the man to inspire The Hammers but The Blades have an abundance of under-rated players too and I back them to sneak it. 2-1

TOM NORRIS: Both sides have been rested since the Christmas rush, but don’t bank on this being an open and expansive contest under the Bramall Lane lights. Moyes to continue unbeaten start back at the Hammers. 1-1

DAN HEALD: Moyes seems the natural choice to steer West Ham away from the relegation mire, but his side will need to dig deep for a point here. 1-1

CRYSTAL PALACE v ARSENAL

NH: Arteta’s yet to see a 90-minute display from his team and Hodgson can say the same. He needs Zaha to rise to the occasion against a team who wanted him so badly last summer. 2-1

TN: If Arteta can keep Ozil’s fire burning bright then the Gunners are on to a winner. Arsenal’s new defensive resolve will be put to the test by Roy’s boys, but the away team might just edge it. 1-2

DH: There are early signs of promise for Arsenal under Arteta, who’s demanding a higher workrate and more discipline from his players. Palace are equally well-drilled, particularly at home, so honours even. 1-1

CHELSEA v BURNLEY

NH: Burnley haven’t lost on their last two visits to the Bridge but they way played against Villa two weeks ago should give Lampard’s home-sick Blues real hope. 2-1

TN: Lampard’s young Blues needed a home win and a cup clash with Forest’s B side came at the perfect time. Burnley will be far more physical, but it’s hard to see past another three points for Chelsea. 2-0

DH: Chelsea have blown hot and cold at times this season, but they have the attacking quality to unpick a Burnley side who are on a three-game losing streak in the league. 3-1

EVERTON v BRIGHTON

NH: It must have been a wretched week to be an Everton fan. You’d like to think they’ll put it right but Brighton are well capable of winning at Goodison. 1-1

TN: Ancelotti’s halo has slipped a little but it’s the Everton players who have come in for the most criticism. With the window open, one or two might want to buck their ideas up. Brighton will have a go. 2-1

DH: Ancelotti was left fuming after the FA Cup defeat to a young Liverpool side and will expect a reaction from his players. Brighton have been quietly impressive this season and could snatch a point. 2-2

LEICESTER CITY v SOUTHAMPTON

NH: All set up for Saints’ ‘sweet revenge’ headlines but you can’t see it happening, especially with Vardy back. 2-1

TN: Anything less than nine and Southampton will come away with some credit, surely? On a serious note, the Saints have improved. Quite how much will be there for all to see. Vardy fit and rested is a concern for the visitors. 3-1

DH: Southampton have improved immeasurably since their 9-0 mauling by the Foxes. This won’t be a cakewalk for the hosts, but you’d expect Maddison and Vardy to make the difference. 2-1

MANCHESTER UNITED v NORWICH CITY

NH: Solskjaer is flogging James and Rashford into the ground. Might be a good game to rest them although who else have United got as back-up? Sad times at Old Trafford. 2-1

TN: The type of game that United cruised to victory in during the good old days of Fergie. But this is Ole’s band of hit-and-miss men and the Canaries will be confident. Rashford and Martial should have too much though. 3-1

DH: A woeful first half against City typified United’s stop-start season. Norwich’s plight seems to worsen with each passing week and Rashford can heap more misery on them here. 3-1

WOLVES v NEWCASTLE UNITED

NH: Jimenez will star against a Magpies team, who have hit the buffers off late. An early goal could lead to a lot more. 3-0

TN: Newcastle will be hoping their luck with injuries improves enough to field a team that will give Wolves a fight. Nuno’s men, with Jimenez, Jota and Traore in attack, should be too good. 2-0

DH: A point at Molineux has become a respectable result this season and Bruce would certainly take one this weekend. I’m expecting a tight affair though, with a Jimenez goal to decide it. 1-0

TOTTENHAM v LIVERPOOL

NH: One team is going to end Liverpool’s run but it won’t be Spurs tomorrow evening. Even if the Kindergarten Klopps start again, they’ll win. 2-3

TN: Jose loves to spoil a Liverpool title challenge, but even he will believe that Klopp’s Reds are too far clear to be troubled, even if Spurs managed to get something. With no Kane a home win seems even less likely to happen. 0-2

DH: Klopp’s currently sat on the perch once occupied by Mourinho. Respected, charismatic and passionate - the German has instilled a winning mentality which shows no signs of slowing down and his side can win comfortably here. 1-3

BOURNEMOUTH v WATFORD

NH: The Hornets are buzzing and what better away game could you ask for than against an under-performing Bournemouth side. Deeney will love it on the coast. 0-2

TN: Not even Nigel Pearson would have expected this turnaround in such a short space of time by the Hornets, who could be out of the bottom two with victory. The Cherries look to be in a bit of trouble if January doesn’t bring some new faces. 1-2

DH: Watford are reaping the rewards of the Pearson effect and his players appear to have bought into his methods quickly. Bournemouth are desperate for points and could snatch a draw. 1-1

ASTON VILLA v MANCHESTER CITY

NH: Villa will feel like everything is going against them and then you have City come calling. Aguero will return and he’ll be back among the goals. 1-3

TN: You’ve lost your number one keeper and striker and key midfielder and then City arrive - it’s a tough time for Dean Smith and Villa, who will simply want to get this one out of the way. Sterling and De Bruyne will relish this. 1-4

DH: Villa’s back line is vulnerable and City’s wealth of attacking options will be relishing this one. Spare a thought for Villa keeper Orjan Nyland, this could be a damage limitation exercise for the injury-hit hosts. 0-4
