Doug Tharme in action against St Mirren Colts
WREXHAM defender Doug Tharme has joined Southern League Premier Division Central side Tamworth on-loan.
The 20-year-old, who was recalled early from a loan spell with Telford United at the start of the season, has put pen-to-paper with the Lambs on a deal that runs until January 1.
Although yet to feature in the league this season for Wrexham, Tharme recently captained the Reds side which took part in the Scottish Challenge Cup, including the 2-0 quarter-final defeat against Rangers Colts at Ibrox Stadium.
