THREE teams from Deeside continued their perfect starts to the Aura Junior Netball League by recording their seventh straight successes.

Deeside Dominoes kept themselves at the top of the under 15s division thanks to a dominant victory over North Dragon Phoenix where Kellie Murray earned herself a player of the match award for the third game in a row.

The league leaders were 21-3 up at half-time and Murray led from the front as her side maintained the same level of ruthlessness in the second period to earn themselves a 49-6 win.

Deeside DJs stay second in the league - only behind the Dominoes on goal difference – after they stayed perfect with a win over Rhosnesni Raiders.

The DJs held a narrow 7-6 advantage at the end of the first half before Courtney Sullivan inspired an improved performance in the second period to earn her side a 20-11 success

Deeside Darts U15s also won their game against Mold Starlings to complete a clean sweep for Deeside teams in the league. The Darts prevailed 17-4 with Jenny Preston being named the player of the match.

It was a tougher day for the under 14s, though, with the Diamonds, Dixies and Doves all losing out to their opponents on the day.

An unbeaten Boughton Belle Predators side continued their perfect start to the season by seeing off a spirited Deeside Diamonds team with a 22-8 victory that keeps them second.

The Deeside Doves also lost out as they were narrowly beaten 17-14 by the table topping Wrexham Gems, and despite a closely contested first half, the Deeside Dixies were unable to match the Ellesmere Port Stars as they eventually fell to a 19-5 defeat.

Sophie Woosey claimed yet another player of the match award for her Deeside Dragonflies U13s as she helped her team to a hard-fought 15-10 success over Ellesmere Port Tornadoes.

Deeside Dace also picked up a win in the under 13s division as they outclassed Boughton Belles Jaguars 23-11 with Niamh Lonergan being named player of the match.

As well as the Dominoes and DJs (U15s), the Deeside Dots under 12s have also kept up their perfect start to the season as they extinguished Chester Sparks with a crushing 34-4 win.

Hollie Owen was rewarded for her performance with the player of the match award while her side stay second behind the also unbeaten Ellesmere Port Waves.

In the under 11s league, Deeside Dolphins were desperately unlucky not to come away with their first win of the season as they were pipped to the points by a Mold Kestrals side who won eventually 6-4.

After a tight first half ended 2-2 between Deeside Dimples U10s and Holywell Hearts, it was the Hearts who stormed to victory in the second period as they ran out 7-2 winners.

Deeside Dynamos U9s, though, were able to hold on for a 2-2 draw against Rhosnesni Rabbits after initially coming from behind to lead the game 2-1 before conceding a late goal to leave the two teams with a draw. Lily Grace Hansen claimed the player of the match award for her performance.

Meanwhile, top of the table Ellesmere Port Sparks conjured a thunderous 11-0 success over a spirited and determined Deeside Daredevils team.
