AN UNDERSTRENGTH Wrexham side exited the Scottish Challenge Cup after losing 2-0 against Rangers Colts in the quarter-finals at Ibrox Stadium.
Reds boss Dean Keates selected professionals who have found game-time limited in recent weeks and youth team players but a goal in each half saw Rangers progress to the last four.
Here's how the players rated:
CHRISTIAN DIBBLE: It was going okay until he spilled a shot that gifted Rangers their second goal. 5
JAZZI BARNUM-BOBB: Was more able to get forward and support attacks in the second half. 6
DOUG THARME: The acting captain was solid against a Rangers side who caused lots of problems, especially first half. 6
MICHAEL CHAMBERS: Resolute defending when Rangers were on top in the first half. 6
BOBBY BEAUMONT: Out of position at left-back but worked hard and did his job. 6
DEVONTE REDMOND: Showed glimpses of what he is capable of. 5
MAX CLEWORTH: The holding midfielder made some key interceptions and stood up well to the test. 6
MATHEW JONES: Found himself more on the defensive rather than linking attacks. 5
KYLE ROBINSON-MURRAY: Was bright in spells but taken off on the hour mark. 5
JASON OSWELL: Failed to hit the target with a chance in both halves. 5
LEIGHTON MCINTOSH: Came closest to scoring but was denied by the goalkeeper at 0-0. 6
JAKE BICKERSTAFF: Didn't make an impact after coming on. 4
CALUM HUXLEY: A late substitute. 4
