DEESIDE DJs continued their perfect start to the under 15s netball season when they battled past a Boughton Belles Bears side who also went into the game unbeaten.

Charlotte Sellings starred in the game as her DJs team earned themselves a comfortable 24-11 victory over the Bears to leave them as one of four sides left without a defeat in the division.

The Deeside Dominoes stay top of the Under 15s league though, as they claimed yet another comprehensive win. Lexi Jones picked up the player of the match award for her performance in the Dominoes’ 36-14 success.

Deeside Doves U14s staved off a second half comeback from the Boughton Belles Tigers for a 14-12 win in which Charlotte Jones got herself the player of the match award.

Elsewhere in the under 14s division, Izzy Ames starred as the Deeside Dixies got themselves their first points of the season after an 8-8 draw with Rhosenesni Regals.

Also in the division, Holly Hughes helped her Deeside Diamonds team move up to fifth thanks to a convincing 23-4 win over Boughton Belles Lions.

Lucy Roden made her debut while her teammate Lauren Olsen picked up the player of the match award as the pair were influential in Deeside Dace’s 36-2 demolition of North Dragon Lightning.

Deeside Dragonflies also came out on top in their under 13s fixture against Ellesmere Port Flames, with Laura Haden helping her side to a 13-10 victory which takes the youngsters up to seventh.

Deeside Dice U11s were also winners as Freya Thomas helped her team fight for a 8-6 win over Mold Kestrels, while Deeside Dolphins crashed to a 35-0 defeat against Chester Cheetahs.

In the under 10s league, Deeside Dimples fell to a 9-1 reverse against Boughton Belles Pumas, while it was a similar story in the lowest age group.

Deeside Daredevils couldn’t find a way to overcome Chester Warriors who got themselves a 6-1 win, while Mold Robins prevailed 7-0 against Deeside Dynamos.

Meanwhile, Deeside Darts U15s and Deeside Dots U12s were both handed walkovers past their scheduled opponents Boughton Belles Hotshots and Wrexham Rosegolds.
