Y FELINHELI were involved in another goal glut during their thrilling 4-4 draw at Llandudno Amateurs.

One week removed from their incredible 7-6 triumph at Holyhead Town, the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division Two side displayed exceptional attacking prowess and frail defensive traits in equal measure to come away with another point that sees the title hopefuls remain in second spot.

A positive opening to the contest saw the visitors go ahead on the quarter-hour mark when Rhys Parry found the net, but they were pegged back soon after when a neat passage of play was finished off by Luke Mahoney with 27 gone.

This was met by a quick answer from the away side that came through Carwyn Dafydd on 30 minutes to restore their slender advantage, which lasted for just five minutes as Aaron Roberts broke clear and equalised yet again for Sandy Malone’s side.

After the break saw the visitors stamp their authority on proceedings from the off and they took the lead for the third time when Parry made the most of some space to turn in his second of the evening on 50 minutes.

They managed to double their advantage on 57 minutes when Iwan Owen finished well following a period of sustained pressure, but the home side ensured a nervy ending to the game when Mahoney fired in his brace on the hour mark.

There was still time for further drama in what turned out to be another pulsating clash involving the promotion candidates, with Joe Jones’ fine effort on 75 minutes ensuring both sides had something to show for their efforts.
