NORTH WALES CRUSADERS have strengthened their squad ahead of the Good Friday derby with West Wales Raiders by signing Dante Morley-Samuels.
The 20-year-old, who sports a distinctive hairstyle, makes the move to Wrexham from fellow League One club Coventry Bears, for whom he was ever present last season, scoring four tries on his way to bagging the club's Young Player of the Year award.
Travelling to the midlands from Wigan had become an issue for the versatile back, and he has opted to spend the rest of the 2019 campaign with Crusaders.
Crusaders head coach Anthony Murray said: “We’re pleased to bring in Dante as he’ll give us more options across the backline.
“He’s a young, promising player and had an excellent season with Coventry last year.
“I’m looking forward to seeing what he can offer us for the remainder of 2019.”
