Holywell Town boss John Haseldin remains committed to turning the club's ailing fortunes around after their 5-2 defeat at Bangor City.

The Wellmen remain mired in a relegation battle after their third successive league defeat kept them 15th in the table.

The visitors made the worst possible start at Nantporth with Alex Darlington netting twice in the first seven minutes, before Steve Lewis hit back soon after to leave Holywell trailing 2-1 at the break.

But a second half capitulation saw Darlingtone net twice more, with Robbie parry's strike putting Bangor 5-1 ahead before a Matty Harvey bagged a late consolation.

Taking to social media after Friday night's game, Haseldin tweeted: "Managing at any level can be a very lonely place, especially in defeat!

"Just like a player you always want to improve but ultimately you pick the team and make the decisions.

"The last couple of months have been the toughest I've experienced but I'm determined to turn things round.

"Thank you to the Wellmen faithful for the fantastic support again tonight , everyone of you deserves a lot better than what we are serving up at the moment."
