RGC scrum-half Efan Jones has achieved another impressive accolade as part of his starring role in their recent victory over Bedwas.
The former Wales U18 international was the star of the show for Mark Jones’ side, turning in a virtuoso display to help himself to a hat-trick in front of the passionate home support at Stadiwm Zip World, and he was crowned winner of the Principality Premiership Try of the Week as a result of his remarkable contribution to the success.
Jones was shortlisted for the honour for his sensational solo score and received enough votes to walk away with the honour.
This is the second time this season that Jones has scooped the distinction, and the Academy graduate has enjoyed a fantastic top-flight campaign so far as he enjoys a more prominent role within the squad following the departure of Alex Schwartz to Cornish Pirates.
