THE Welsh Trophy draw produced a mixed bag of fortunes for the North East Wales sides left in the last 32.

One Welsh National League club are definitely guaranteed a place in the the fifth round after Cefn Albion were drawn at home to FC Nomads - the last of the nine Northern Section ties to be pulled out of the hat.

Cefn's neighbours, Plas Madoc - riding high in Division One of the Welsh National League - are also at home to Mynydd Llandegai while Corwen, who are chasing trophies on all fronts this season, host Glan Conwy.

Rhos Aelwyd, who lost out in the final last season to Conwy Borough, face a trip to Mid Wales League outfit Four Crosses while Rhydymwyn must also travel south down the A483 to take on Berriew.

Previous winners of the competition, Chirk AAA, head to Bodedern while Brymbo have a difficult tie at Welsh Alliance leaders Llangefni Town.

The other ties in the North, to be played on November 24, are Pwllheli v Nantlle Vale and Llanrug v Llanfair.
