DEESIDE bounced back from an opening day defeat in the North West Premier League to beat Dominoes by a 49-38 margin.

A few changes in combination late on paid dividends for Deeside who pulled clear in the last quarter and clinched their maiden victory this term.

Division One action saw leaders Deeside Demons hammer Buckley jets 81-25, with Mold Dragons beaten 78-41 by Clinton James.

Holywell Hawks are setting the pace in Division Two after a 45-40 success against North Dragons Inferno, with in-form Mold Ravens beating Dee Fires 44-30, Deeside Deuce dispatching Flint Foxes 54-25, and Storms inflicting a 55-26 reverse on Hope Hurricanes.

Mold Swifts drew 40-all in their Division Three clash with Dazzlers, Mold Hawks were outgunned in a 45-39 reverse to Holywell Highfliers, Hope Harriers saw off Firebirds 34-21, with the Highlights emerging as 44-25 victors in their Holywell derby clash against the Hurricanes.

Junior League action saw Deeside Dominoes U14s triumph 22-15 against North Dragon Burners, while Wrexham Gems enjoyed a 27-6 success in their U13 clash with Deeside Doves.

Deeside Dragonflies U12s were edged out in a 13-10 reverse to Holywell Hotshots, an impressive display from Kiera Moss wasn’t enough to prevent Deeside Dace falling to a 30-2 reverse to Boughton Belles Pythons.

Boughton Belle Leopards were 8-2 victors in their U11 league opener against Deeside Dots, for whom Hannah Slac impressed.

Bebington fell to their second defeat of the Epic Netball League Division Two campaign in a heavy 25-10 reverse to third-placed Wrighty’s Warriors while leaders Storms beat Five Supremes 37-18.
