Deeside youngsters impressed on the final competitive weekend of Junior League action at the weekend.

The club were represented by two teams at the junior finals day tournament with the U13 Deeside DJs side in fine form once more.

having already won the league title, the DJs added a finals day first place finish to cap a a memorable season.

The club overcame a slow start against Rhosnesni Raiders to record a 21-16 win to take them in to the final.

There was no sluggishness on display in their face-off against Chester Wolves, as the DJs produced a commanding display in a 21-17 victory to take the finals day champions crown.

After finishing third outright in the U15 League, Deeside Dazzlers were beaten 15-10 in their opening clash with eventual winners Chester Legions.

The Dazzlers took on North Dragons to determine the final rankings edged a closely-fought match to finish third overall with an 18-14 win.

As well as collective team honours, awards were also handed out on the day for individuals with most 'player of the match' nominations this season.

DJs attacker Courtney Sullivan collected the award for her side after an influential season for her side.
