RGC resume their Principality Premiership title charge this weekend when they travel to Aberavon.

The Gogs have enjoyed a memorable top-flight campaign so far, with Mark Jones’ side currently sitting in third spot and just two points behind leaders Merthyr.

It has been a very promising start to Phase Two of the season and they took full advantage of a run of three home fixtures at Stadiwm Zip World to secure two wins and a draw.

Their latest thrashing of Swansea featured a sensational second half display that was the catalyst behind their success, and they can take plenty of encouragement into a difficult looking series of fixtures on their travels.

The return from injury of Danny Cross has been a huge contributing factor in their recent success, while the likes of Tom Hughes, Dion Jones and Iolo Evans have also stood out for the championship contenders.

Aber have failed to reach the heights they managed to achieve last term, and face a real fight for their Premiership future after acquiring 12 points from their first five fixtures, winning just one.

Following Saturday’s encounter RGC face trips to Bargoed and Llanelli, before finally returning to home soil on March 30 to take on Cross Keys.

This will be followed by a pair of away games at Cardiff and Pontypridd, and they finish their campaign on home soil as they welcome Merthyr and Newport.
