On Friday the whole of Park CP School in Llay, took part in a fun day based on their topic, Under the Sea.
The day included an environmental element with recycled sea monster competition, and lots of water play with pools and pistols.
The Wrexham Play Development Team came along to help youngsters play with loose/recycled parts and also brought a water slide.
Wrexham MP Sarah Atherton was also invited, visiting Year 5/6 to discuss issues around the environment and what is it like to be a politician.
Teacher Jason Whalley said: "There were smiles on everyone's faces, they had a really good day. It was just nice to see them all smiling."
