They also continued to read their class book, The Elves and the Shoemaker, and the children participated in a sewing activity, following in the steps of Stan the Shoemaker and his wife Jan from the story.

Class 2 started looking at multiplication and counting in twos.

They used story maps of The Three Little Pigs story to retell the story in the correct order with as much detail as possible, and practised team building and problem solving skills by making houses out of straw. Then the 'Big Bad Wolf' fan tried to blow them down.

They continued to think about wolves by learning to play What's The Time Mr Wolf in Welsh, and creating pictures of the wolf howling at the moon.

This week in Class 3 demonstrated their creative skills and developed their ability to use digital technology through the presentation of the Christian Creation Story.

In Maths they have been converting between decimals, fractions and percentages.

The Daily Mile became a little competitive, resulting in a crazy 152 collective miles being posted. Exactly the distance to our capital city Cardiff.

The highlight of the week was Friday's trip to Aston Bowling Club. The children were treated to a lesson courtesy of a few of the members and absolutely loved the experience.
