MEMBERS of the public have been urged not to take a risk after police were alerted to reports of a person selling perfume from a bag.
The warning comes from Wrexham Town Inspector Luke Hughes.
He said: "At 11.30am on Wednesday, June 9, officers were alerted to a male apparently selling perfume from a bag in the town centre.
"Officers attended and recovered a number of bottles of what appeared to be counterfeit perfume.
"Anecdotal information suggests that persons using perfume bought locally have experienced discomfort and a burning sensation when using the perfume.
"My advice is simple - if it’s too good to be true, it is.
"What you are buying is either fake or stolen.
"Please do not take a risk that could damage your health or your wallet."
