SCHOOL pupils enjoyed a disco in their own playground thanks to the visit of a special 'Boombox' caravan.
Staff and pupils at Ysgol Plas Coch in Wrexham were getting ready for the fourth Dydd Miwsig Cymru 2019 which takes place today.
The youngsters enjoyed getting down to the sounds of the giant stereo with the decks being manned by DJ Owain Llyr.
Dydd Miwsig Cymru is the Welsh Language Music Day which celebrates all forms of Welsh Language music.
From indie, rock, punk, funk, folk, electronica, to hip hop or anything else, it shows there is a wide range of music being made in the Welsh language for people to discover.
From 100 applications, Ysgol Plas Coch on Stansty Road was one of 10 schools across Wales to receive a visit from the disco to encourage the use of Welsh language music in the playground, at home and in the classroom.
Ysgol Plas Coch pupils and staff are now urging other primaries and secondaries to share how they make time to listen to Welsh language music as part of the campaign.
