POLICE are warning that "positive action" will be taken after a "serious disturbance" in Deeside.
Police were called to an incident on Green Lane in Shotton over the weekend whereby several officers were assaulted.
On Tuesday, Phillip Higgins, 39, a roofer, of Green Lane, pleaded guilty to assaulting two police officers on June 19 and damaging a police car.
Higgins was handed a 12 months suspended jail term with 180 hours unpaid work. He must pay £250 compensation to each policeman, £108 to North Wales police for spitting blood in the car, and £85 costs.
And on Thursday, North Wales Police's (NWP) North Flintshire team issued a further update on the incident.
It said North Wales Police and the anti-social behaviour team at Flintshire Council are working "closely together" on the issue.
A spokesperson for the policing team said: "We are reviewing all the footage, and we will be supplying the evidence to the council so they can take positive action.
"This behaviour will not be tolerated."
