SEVERAL police officers sustained injuries while dealing with an incident in Deeside.
North Wales Police's (NWP) North Flintshire team said the incident took place on Green Lane in Shotton overnight.
A spokesperson for the policing team said: "Police were called to the location due to an ongoing incident. On arrival and dealing with the incident several officers have then sustained injuries whilst dealing with the incident.
"If you have any information in relation to this please contact 101 and quote reference Z087337."
The North Wales Police Federation said: "Absolutely appalled that two of our members have been badly injured as a result of a violent incident in Flintshire last night.
"One officer sustained a broken wrist and the other officer was bitten several times. NWP Federation support and contact is in place with the two officers."
