POLICE are investigating after a man dressed in just boxer shorts and sunglasses knocked on the door of a Flintshire resident.

The incident occurred on Vicarage Road in Rhydymwyn, near Mold, at about 10.30pm on Tuesday.

It saw the boxer shorts-clad man reportedly ask the resident if he had a spare pair as he had soiled himself - he also reportedly asked for money.

The resident said: "I realised then he was filming me with his mobile phone. I ordered him to leave my property.

"When he persisted in his demands I could hear laughter from his phone. I chased him off onto the road and he ran up Vicarage Road.

"I am concerned that he could pick on the house of an elderly or vulnerable individual."

North Wales Police has confirmed it is investigating the incident.
