A FLINTSHIRE bowling club is on the hunt for a new location.
The last bowl has been bowled on Treuddyn Bowling Club green, after members were served notice.
The current team of 16 players have a few alternative sites for consideration but are sad to leaving their home of more than 40 years.
Player Doug Hughes, from Hope, said: "It is the last facility in Treuddyn for older persons to use.

"It's a shame because this year the team won the John Griffiths Cup, playing teams from higher divisions.
"It really was devastating to find out. So it's goodbye to all our neighbours and friends."
The club feared a move back in 2011, when the land the green is on was in question during the sale of the Farmers Arms pub.
The pub was owned by Chester-based Admiral Taverns. Flintshire Council leased the land and sub let it to the bowling club.
It is hoped the team will find somewhere to call home once again soon.
