Gbenro Ogunbiyi, aged 39 and of Centenary Lane, Wednesbury, was sentenced for driving without due care and attention at Ruabon. The court imposed a fine of £440 and six penalty points. The defendant must also pay £110 costs and a £176 victim surcharge.
John McDonagh, aged 32 and of Ros Ard, Rostrevor, Newry, County Down, was sentenced for using a handheld mobile phone or device whilst driving, as well as driving a vehicle with no rear registration plate - both of which happened in Rhostyllen. The court issued six notional penalty points (which resulted in the defendant being banned from driving for six months), a fine of £220, costs of £110 and an £88 victim surcharge.
Sevanter Ltd, based at Mona Road in Chadderton, Oldham, was sentenced for failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver when required. The court imposed a £1,000 fine and ordered the company to pay £110 costs, as well as a £400 victim surcharge.
Jason Adams, aged 52 and of Stowe Close in Hunts Cross, Liverpool, was sentenced for speeding - in that he exceeded 70mph on the A55 at Mold. The court fined him £270 and issued three penalty points. Adams must also pay £400 costs and a £108 victim surcharge.
Mohammad Khaled, aged 20 and of Aquarium Street in Rhyl, was sentenced for speeding - in that he exceeded 70mph on the A55 at Caerwys. The court issued a £152 fine and endorsed his licence with six penalty points. Khaled must also pay £300 costs as well as a £61 victim surcharge.

Jamie Bellia, aged 38 and of Church Gardens in Egremont, Merseyside, was sentenced for drug-driving (cannabis) at Sealand. The Court handed down a 12 month community order with 130 hours of unpaid work, a two year driving ban, £85 costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
Joe Young, aged 20, of Deans Close in Bagillt, was sentenced for drug driving (ketamine) in Connah's Quay. The court imposed a 16 month driving ban and a £200 fine. The defendant must also pay £85 costs.
Cory Roberts, aged 18 and of Y Berthlog, Trelogan, was sentenced for drug driving (ketamine) in Holywell. The court imposed a 12 month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work, 17 month driving ban, £85 costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
