A FLINTSHIRE man is to be sentenced after he admitted possessing both ammunition and an imitation firearm.

Ryan Brick, of Cefn Road in Connah's Quay, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old admitted one offence of possessing ammunition without a firearms licence and two of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence - all of which took place in October 2022.

Myles Wilson, defending, asked the court to consider adjourning the sentencing to a later date in order for a pre-sentence report to be compiled about his client.

He said: "The starting point is two years in custody, but this case is two years old and he's not been in trouble since."

Judge Nicola Jones agreed, and adjourned the sentence to October 29 at Mold Crown Court.

The Judge made no indication with regards to the sentence Brick could expect.
