FORMER Coronation Street stars are among those aiming to get a Wrexham-based drama TV series off the ground and onto our screens.
'Up the Town' is being directed by Ian Puleston-Davies, who previously played Owen Armstrong in the ITV soap.
The 66-year-old, who is from Flint, has also appeared on the likes of The Bay, Marcella and Midsomer Murders down the years.
Now, he is one of the main driving forces behind - along with the Win the Crowd Films team - this new potential TV series that is hoping to once again put Wrexham on the map.
Written by Nate Reeves, Up the Town is based in Wrexham and also features cameos from local people throughout.
Also on the team as producer is Dean Fagan, who previously played mechanic Luke Britton on Corrie.
Dean now lives in Wrexham and launched the Wrexham Academy of Screen Acting this time last year, with the aim of giving local aspiring actors a 'golden opportunity' to kick-start their screen acting journey.

Filming for scenes of 'Up the Town' took place over the weekend of September 28/29 in Wrexham.
The series is currently in the proof-of-concept stage (meaning it is simply a test or demonstration of a new idea to show its feasibility and potential for success).
But, the team behind it are determined to make 'Up the Town' a success and help put Wrexham on the map once more.
Actors from the Wrexham Academy of Screen Acting are involved as cast and crews, as well as other local residents, including the team from Russell Williams' kickboxing club.
Dean Fagan said: "We hope to get Wrexham’s creative industry sector off the ground with this by creating it’s own flagship show.
"We are so proud of everyone. It was a big day and you all smashed it. The footage looks amazing. It’s got energy, flavour, identity. And when (not if!) this show gets made - it’s going to make its mark. Up the town! Let’s make it happen!"
More about the series and what it entails will be revealed in the coming weeks as the Win the Crowd Films team progresses with it.
