NOFIO Clwyd swimming club member Rhys Darbey has achieved silver for Team GB in the men's SM14 individual medley (Wednesday, September 4).
The Paris Paralympian from Connah's Quay in Flintshire also achieved a gold medal in the S14 mixed 4x100m freestyle. The heat took place this morning with the final scheduled for the evening.
He also brilliantly claimed silver at last summer’s World Para Swimming Championships, achieving a personal best time of 2-10.9.
In a post on X, Nofio Clwyd said: "Wow. Rhys Darbey. What an effort and the skills on show to win that silver in the last 10. Your team are super proud."
