POLICE have been carrying out speed checks in parts of Wrexham where residents have raised concerns.
People living in both Penycae and Johnstown have contacted officers to report issues recently.
Among the worries in both areas were drivers not sticking to the respective speed limits.
As such, North Wales Police conducted speed checks to keep an eye out for anyone speeding.

"These were carried out due to concerned residents reporting vehicles speeding. We were pleased to say that everyone stuck to the speed limit. We will continue to monitor.
"If you have any concerns in your area please email the PCSO for the area. Details can be found on the North Wales Police Website."
