A FRAGRANCE business has confirmed it will be opening a store in Wrexham city centre this weekend.
Owned by Matt Weaver, 41, and Scott Goodburn, 39, independent luxury home fragrance house Marsden & Whittle will be joining Chapter Court, Queens Street, in Wrexham on Saturday, August 24.
The business, which is named after Matt's grandparents, Maurice Marsden and Priscilla Whittle, has been trading for just over three-years, founded in July 2021, and has been primarily based in Ellesmere Port up until now.
Chapter Court is to represent the first brick and mortar store for the dedicated pair, who have previously only traded online via their website and at artisan markets and trade shows.
Matt and Scott said: "We chose Wrexham and Chapter Court as our very first trade show was Wrexham Feast in Sep 2021 and since then we have continued to trade at regular events in and around Wrexham. We have hundreds of customers from around the local area.
"We have also had fantastic support from Fair Event Management at every step in our journey and so the opportunity to work more closely with them and take on a retail unit at Chapter Court feels like a natural next step for our business."
The store will open at 10am and will remain open throughout the bank holiday weekend. Shoppers can receive a free gift with a minimum purchase of £25.

Customers can browse their delightful collection of reed diffusers, room mists, scented candles, car diffusers, body wash, body lotions and much more.
The business also prides itself on using 100% oil-based products from renewable sources, creating low evaporation rates for their classic diffusers. The range of expertly blended home fragrances also takes inspiration from the lives and passions of Maurice and Priscilla.
Matt added: "We are most looking forward to growing our relationship with the people of Wrexham and bringing something a bit different to the high street.
"We can’t wait to welcome customers into our new store."
