A FORMER Wales international has revealed just how intimidating it is playing at the SToK Cae Ras.
The Reds kicked-off their League One campaign with a 3-2 win against Wycombe Wanderers at the Racecourse on the opening day.
Goals from Max Cleworth, Jack Marriott and Steven Fletcher were enough for Phil Parkinson's men in response to goals from Richard Kone and Sam Vokes.
Following the game, former Wales striker Vokes has discussed how much of role the Wrexham fans had on proceedings.
13,214 fans were in attendance at the Racecourse for Saturday's game, the highest home crowd for a league fixture in 44 years.

According to Vokes, the Reds fans certainly played their part in the victory.
He told the BBC: "It was bouncing and for an away team it's going to be a tough place to go this year.
"I don't want to say just the atmosphere will get them through because they're a good team obviously, but I think that that can sometimes give you an extra 10 points during a season.
"It put us on the back foot. I'm not going to lie, the first 10-15 minutes we were taken aback by it."
