HOLYWELL High Street is set to lose a much-loved store this week as the Peacocks premises is up for sale.
On Thursday, July 25 the popular retail store will close its doors to the public.
Marketed by Suttons Commercial Property Consultants, the freehold building is currently up for sale for £700,000 on Zoopla.
Peacocks has over 340 branches across the UK, with the nearest one to Holywell now being in Flint Retail Park.

The announcement was made last month and residents have continued to express their sadness and disappointment over the news.
"Another nail in the Holywell coffin", said one individual while another added "We will have nothing left other than charity shops and bookmakers."
The head office for Peacocks has been approached for further comment.
