POLICE have issued an update in an investigation to find a girl reported missing in Warrington.

As previously reported, 16-year-old Evelyn Anderson was last seen at around 6.45pm on Sunday on Warrington Road in Culcheth.

In a missing person appeal launched earlier this week, Cheshire Police says it is ‘increasingly concerned for her welfare’.

Today, Friday, North Wales Police has issued an update – it believes Evelyn is travelling together with two other missing teenagers.

Ffion Anderson has also been missing from her home in Rainhill since last Friday, April 19, with Merseyside Police issuing an appeal to find her.

It is believed that the 15-year-old has since been sighted at Broughton Shopping Centre in north Wales, and in nearby Chester.

There have also been reports of her being seen near to The Rocket Pub, on Warrington Road Rainhill, on Sunday at around 3pm.

North Wales Police believes the two girls are with Joshua, whose surname is not given by officers, with the 17-year-old Joshua missing from the Colwyn Bay area of Wales.

He was last seen shortly before 9am on Monday and is described as being of slim build with short mousy coloured hair and wears glasses. It is not known what he was last seen wearing.

Evelyn is described as being white, around 5’ 4” tall, with short black hair with red tints, and she is also believed to be in possession of a long dark-haired wig which she may wear.

Evelyn was last seen wearing black leggings and black and white Jordans trainers with an orange tick.

Although Evelyn is currently living in Warrington, she is believed to have links to north Wales, Merseyside and Greater Manchester.

When last seen, Ffion was wearing navy blue tracksuit bottoms and a navy blue sweatshirt, a black cropped puffer jacket and white high-top trainers. She was also carrying a yellow JD Sports drawstring bag.

She is described as being a white female, 5’ 2” tall, of medium build with dyed dark brown hair that she wears in slicked-back ponytail.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of each of the teenagers, whom North Wales Police believes are together in the Greater Manchester area.

Chief inspector Jeff Moses said: “Enquiries have been underway involving North Wales Police, Merseyside Police and Cheshire Police.

“We do believe that all three are travelling together and they may be in the Greater Manchester area.

“We are urging anyone who thinks that may have seen either Joshua, Evelyn or Ffion since their disappearance to contact us as soon as possible.

“Equally, I am appealing directly to all three to contact us to let us know that they are safe and well.”
