A CHARITY SHOP in Colwyn Bay is to remain permanently closed after being damaged by a fire.

The Bay Community Shop/ Thanks 4 Giving, at 23 Abergele Road, was damaged in a fire that took place at the old Pavilion pub next door earlier this week.

The shop has now said it will remain closed, and thanked customers and donors for their support over the years.

“I hope you can all continue supporting local charities.”
