IT WAS a rare loss for Wrexham on Saturday afternoon (November 18), but the away support shown for the club was nothing short of incredible once more.

A 2-0 loss at Accrington Stanley handed the Reds their first defeat since a 5-0 drubbing at Stockport County back in September.

Goals from Tommy Leigh (50') and Rosaire Longelo (73') did the damage as Wrexham suffered a first defeat in 12 matches.

But, what was top class as always was the support shown for the Reds during the EFL League Two fixture at the Wham Stadium.

A crowd of 5,261 supporters watched on from the stands.

Wrexham fans made up nearly half of that crowd with 2,587 of them there to support the Reds.

The club itself posted this to its X account on matchday ...

Up next for Wrexham AFC is a home game v Morecambe this coming Saturday (November 25).

The Reds will be looking to bounce back and keep themselves near the top of the table (currently sat fourth).
