A NUMBER of homes at a new housing site in Wrexham have been passed to the North Wales Housing Association.

SG Estates has transferred the first 12 homes from their Manor Gardens development in Rhostyllen to the North Wales Housing Association.

The 12 properties are part of a larger affordable home contribution of 55 homes built as a partnership with North Wales Housing.

The Manor Gardens development also consists of two to five-bedroom open market homes.

Steve Griffin, managing director of SG Estates said: “We are delighted to be delivering these much-needed homes for the North Wales Housing Association, with whom we have previously enjoyed a strong partnership with on our Maes Helyg development in Llangollen.

"These properties will help those in need. We are proud to be part of providing quality homes and we hope that our customers will be very happy living at Manor Gardens”.

Lauren Eaton-Jones, assistant director of development, from the North Wales Housing Association said: “North Wales Housing has purchased homes off SG Estates previously in Denbighshire and they have been a fantastic addition to our housing stock. We were keen to work with SG Estates on another site and Manor Gardens gave us the opportunity to do so. Once again, the buying process went very smoothly with excellent communication throughout.

"We know that we are purchasing high-quality homes when partnering with SG Estates and the new homes at Manor Gardens do not disappoint! We aim to provide more much-needed affordable homes across North Wales, and we are very pleased to increase the number of homes we have in the county of Wrexham through this development.

"It has been a pleasure to work with the company again and we hope to continue this good relationship going forward on other sites that SG Estates develop in the future”.
