A COUPLE from the States visited Wrexham to celebrate their anniversary and live their AFC dream.
Like many international fans, Jason White and his wife Karen from Phoenix USA became familiar with Wrexham AFC through the Disney+ documentary 'Welcome to Wrexham.'
This is “most” of the #WxmAFC loot from our trip, how did we do? 😂 Thank you so much to everyone, such a pleasure meeting all of you! ❤️

After months of getting up at 5am to watch the games Jason and Karen, who is also a huge fan, decided to take a trip to the famous city.
Jason has also created a Wrexham-inspired website called 'Wrexham Red Dragons' for passionate red fans in the States who want to learn more about Wrexham.
Married for three years, the happy couple got married at Phoenix Zoo due to the lack of greenery the city has to offer.
Jason said: "Ever since then, we go to a zoo to celebrate our anniversary so it felt it was only fitting to visit Chester Zoo during our Wrexham trip.
"The trip was one of the best we have ever been on. It was important to us that the trip was about more than just the club, we wanted to see friends, the town and North Wales."
Day 4 in #Wrexham was amazing! Met up with our BFF Peter and got to see @WXM_Lager, then lunch at Jones Fish & Chips (best in Wrexham). Tea & Coffee with our friends at @lagerwxm, then more coffee with @m_griffiths92. Wife ❤️‘s coffee😂. Then ended with dinner at @TheFatBoarWXM. pic.twitter.com/zQ2HkrJSvy

The couple bumped into several Wrexham AFC players, including manager Phil Parkinson which Jason describes as a highlight.

They ate delicious food at Llangollen Food Festival, visited Chirk Castle, enjoyed pints at the Wrexham Lager Club and sailed over the aqueduct making it the trip of a lifetime for the AFC-obsessed pair.
Jason continues: "That feeling you get walking into Stok Cae Ras and seeing it for the very first time - we were just in awe.
"We felt so many emotions, we just stood there for a while in silence taking it all in."
It was a trip and anniversary outing they won't forget for a long, long time.
