A PERSON was airlifted to hospital following an incident near Holyhead Breakwater.
Holyhead RNLI said its lifeboats launched last night just before 9pm to assist in a multi-agency call near the location.
A spokesperson said: "Our inshore lifeboat assisted other agencies, while the ALB (All-weather lifeboat) stood by in support.
"North Wales Ambulance Service, local cliff rescue teams, North Wales Police and the HM Coastguard helicopter were also involved, and one person was taken to hospital by helicopter."
There are no further details on this incident at present.
