'TIS the season to be jolly for lucky residents of a Wrexham street after a People's Postcode Lottery win.
Those living on Maes Meillion in Minera who had a lottery ticket bagged themselves £1,000 after their LL11 3YH was announced as one of the lucky postcodes amongst this month's winners - just in time for Christmas.
The People's Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for 20 Postcode Trusts and one-third of your ticket is donated to charity. Players pay £10 a month to enter into the daily draw - with each daily draw shelling out £1,000 to residents on 20 lucky UK streets. There's also a weekly draw on a Thursday, that awards £10 each to players in 1,000 postcodes.
Since 2005, People's Postcode Lottery players have raised over £950 Million for good causes.
