One person lucky enough to meet a personal favourite was Fiona Whitelaw, from Mold.
She shared a photo of herself signing on stage with global star Bryan Adams at the MEN Arena in May, 2018.
Fiona, who now performs with the Deesign Choir, based at the Deaf Centre in Chester, explained a bit more about the memorable occasion.
She said: "I was part of a signing choir that focussed on concerts and one of the gigs I did with them was with Bryan Adams.
"He was my childhood hero, and I'd seen him many times. This was on one of his tours, in front of about 21,000 people, a real baptism by fire!
"We did one song with him on his acoustic guitar, alongside his pianist. It was Here I Am from the animation Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.
"He introduced us all by name, having met us all beforehand, and we signed along to that song.
"He spoke about how important inclusivity was, and being aware of people who maybe didn't listen to music in the tradition way."
Bank worker Fiona, 59, has been learning British Sign Language at night school for five years, inspired by her volunteering with Hearing Dogs For Deaf People.
She added: "At that time it wasn't really commonplace to see BSL signers on stage but things have changed brilliantly in the last four years."
Now meet more of our readers with stars in their eyes...
John Alun Roberts, from Hope, met snooker player Jimmy White, at the Northgate Arena in Chester: "The Matchroom League held its various matches all over the country. One pair was held in Chester. Other players included Neil Foulds and Cliff Thorburn. Players were signing autographs in the interval and I snuck up and caught up with Jimmy outside the players' lounge and got a member of the public to take the photograph after having set it up beforehand."
Bradley Davies, from Rhos, met footballer Paul Gascoigne at a signing day in Blackpool Sports Museum: "He signed a football boot of his for me and a poster, great guy, had all the time to tell some great stories, one of the best midfield players of all time."
Osian Morgan, from Wrexham, met actress Grace Van Dien at Wrexham Glyndwr University: "One day me and my dad heard about the Comic-Con in Wrexham and we wanted to see it (it had been a few years since) and we heard that Grace Van Dien was going to be there. I just wanted a photo to show off to my friends. Was it worth £40? I think so!"
