WREXHAM Lager has unveiled its first-ever very own bar situated at a venue which is coming back to life.

That is just another success for the ever-growing business, which earlier this week, saw its sky blue bucket hats - in honour of Wrexham AFC's away kit - sell it out with in an hour of going online.

The new bar has been set up at the old Central Station, which is set to re-open tonight under its new name - the Rockin' Chair.

A host of musicians are set to keep guests entertained at the sell-out event, including The Royston Club, Overpass, Jonny Ash and Nineteen Forever indie disco.

Wrexham Lager's Joss Roberts said: "Wrexham Lager are very proud to see our first dedicated bar in Wrexham town centre.

"Wrexham is massively on the rise in all areas and we are only going to keep pushing for more and more good times - and we know Kev and the team at Rockin' Chair will be doing the exact same.

"Look out, because this may be the first of a few Wrexham Lager bars to come!"

The Wrexham Lager Beer Company Limited was first founded in 1882 by two German immigrants, Ivan Levinstein and Otto Isler, where they made bitters, ales and lagers.

In 2000, the business stopped producing Wrexham Lager products, the site was demolished and changed into a shopping outlet.

However, there was a revival of the Wrexham Larger product in 2011 with brothers Mark Roberts and Vaughan Roberts building a much smaller but successful brewery which has led to great success and even the opening of a brewery shop.
