A NORTH Wales MS is urging constituents to take advantage of a 2-for-1 offer entry to Wales’ historic landmarks.
People travelling by train to Wales’ historic landmarks can now get 2-for-1 entry thanks to a new partnership between Transport for Wales and Cadw.
Sam Rowlands, a Welsh Conservative member of the Welsh Parliament is urging residents to 'take advantage' of the offer.

He said: "As a keen supporter of tourism in North Wales I welcome any moves to help and encourage more people to visit our excellent attractions.
“It is a great idea and will enable visitors who have a same day rail ticket to get two tickets for the price of one at Cadw paid sites, like Conwy and Caernarfon Castle in North Wales.
“This is not only great for tourists but also for residents who can take advantage of this offer which is running until the end of May 2023.”

James Price, Transport for Wales Chief Executive, said: “Wales has so many incredible places to visit and this offer is a perfect way to save money, while also travelling sustainably using public transport.
“We’re delighted to be working with Cadw on this scheme and hope to see many people taking up the offer over the next year.”

“Naturally, this commitment goes hand in hand with Wales’s wider sustainability targets — so we couldn’t be happier to be supporting Transport for Wales with this green tourism initiative.
“We hope that the offer will enable Welsh residents and visitors alike to choose a greener, public travel option when visiting our outstanding historic sites — this summer and beyond.”
The 2-for-1 promotion is applicable at the following North Wales Cadw sites:
- Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey
- Caernarfon Castle, Gwynedd
- Conwy Castle, Conwy
- Criccieth Castle, Gwynedd
- Denbigh Castle, Denbighshire
- Harlech Castle, Gwynedd
- Plas Mawr Elizabethan Town House, Conwy
- Rhuddlan Castle, Denbighshire
