A FLINTSHIRE book shop is welcoming another guest author for it latest Murder in the Library event.
Liverpool born author Luca Veste is the latest crime writer to join The Mold Bookshop's Murder in the Library series of events.
The Mold Bookshop's event, held in partnership with Aura Libraries, will feature Liverpool-born author Luca Veste talking about his new thriller, You Never Said Goodbye, at Mold Library on September 7, at 7pm.
Luca, a writer of Italian and Liverpudlian heritage, is the author of several police procedurals and standalone crime novels, including The Bone Keeper and The Six.
He plays bass guitar, and along with fellow authors including Mark Billingham, Val McDermid and Chris Brookmyre, happily murders much-loved songs in their band The Fun Lovin' Crime Writers.
He is the host of the Two Crime Writers And A Microphone podcast and the co-founder of the Locked Up Festival, an online crime festival that raised money for the Trussell Trust. Luca studied psychology and criminology at university in Liverpool, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
Luca's books follow the detective pairing of DI David Murphy and DS Laura Rossi. Psychological thrillers set in Liverpool, they bring the city to life in a dark and terrifying manner. His latest book, You Never said Goodbye, is an electrifying, edge of your seat thriller that grips from the first page to the last.
Caroline Johnson, from The Mold Bookshop, said: "Our previous Murder in the Library events have been very popular and we are looking forward to Luca joining us for our latest evening of psychological murder."
Tickets are £5 for the event only or £10 to include a copy of You Didn't Say Goodbye, available from The Mold Bookshop 01352 759879 (www.mold-bookshop.co.uk) or Mold Library.
