WITH a TikTok following of over 40,000 people, it's fair to say that the O'Donnell family are certainly making a name for themselves at this moment in time.

Mother-of-five Laura is a well-known stuntwoman who has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom and Keanu Reeves during her time over in the States.

The 38-year-old, who is also a beauty queen, businesswoman and life counsellor, is even set to have the book she wrote - 'Being Laura' - turned into a film next year.

And her thrill-seeking nature is clearly rubbing off on her children, as I found out when I spent an afternoon with them earlier this week.

The 'Extraordinary O'Donnell's' - as they're known on TikTok - have amassed 41,500 followers on that social media platform alone and have just shy of 530,000 likes on there too.

And it's not hard to see why, with some of the horseback, wallclimbing and so many other stunts they get up to on there.

I met Laura and her children Blake 10, Harvey, 13, Felicity, 15 and Malachi, 17, in Trevor - just five minutes away from their Cefn Mawr home - where they would show off some of their skills.

Malachi would play cameraman for the day, filming Live footage for their much-loved TikTok account and interacting with followers, while the other three and Laura were sprung into action.

Upon arrival, I gave them a hand (although not very well!) with getting the first of two horses I met on the day - Thallo - prepared to be put through his paces.

The energetic Harvey was first up on the very-well trained Thallo and showed me some of his vaulting moves. I was blown away by what he could do - even backflipping off the horse with ease!

But, although my ankles felt somewhat painful just watching him do that, this brave reporter himself then took to horseback to try out some moves himself including doing a full 360 spin (at a very slow pace!).

After that, it was the daredevil Blake's turn to take to the saddle. At just 10- years -old, you could perhaps forgive him for being a little nervous - but he showed no fear whatsoever.

And the same could be said for his talented older sister Felicity - aka 'Flick' - who showed great balance to fully stand up on Thallo's back whilst he trotted around.

The next step in the action-packed day was to introduce Welsh Section D Amelia to the showground.

But first, there was a chance for her to sort out Harvey's hair for him in what was both a funny and heart-warming moment.

Amelia's introduction was when things got even more interesting as I got to witness some bareback obstacle jumping take place, which Blake and Flick handled brilliantly.

Blake is set to compete in his first showjumping competition in the coming months and on that showing I'm sure he will be asbolutely fine with it.

In between the bareback riding, jumping and other activities on the day, Laura was busy filming some step-by-step guides on various aspects of horseriding to upload to her Youtube channel which again is well-followed with over 2,600 subscribers.

You can watch my video of how the day unfolded below ...

After spending an afternoon with the O'Donnell's - and being exhausted from just watching them enjoy themselves - and as I set off for home - Laura said to me 'You must think we're crazy!'

Crazy? Maybe. Fearless? Definitely? Talented? Most certainly.

I'd describe them as a fun-loving, kind-hearted family with a real passion for action and a real love for their animals too. I wouldn't be surprised to see the children follow their mum into the stunt world in the near future.

That kindness is displayed through their TikTok page too as they run competitions to give a lucky winner a chance to spend a day with their horses, with accomodation and more paid for buy them. All they have to do is like, comment on and follow their page to be in with that chance.

Laura herself began her journey into becoming an official stuntwoman nine years ago. By now, she has starred in a range of different shows including Emmerdale, Casualty and the hugely-popular Game Of Thrones series.
