A road in Buckley is closed for three weeks which has resulted in changes along several bus routes.

According to Flintshire Council's website, Church Road in Buckley will be closed from today (August 1) until Friday, August 19.

The closure is a result of Gas Utility Works that are being carried out by Wales and West Utilities along the road.

Arriva Wales bus routes will be changing as a result of the closure and the Arriva 4 & 4S will be diverted throughout the duration of this work.

Instead of completing stops along Church Road including Glynne Arms and Horse and Jockey, buses from Chester will be turning left at The Parrot Inn and turning right onto Drury New Road then turning right up Dirty Mile to Buckley Cross and continuing along the normal route.

The reverse of this route will also be applied on buses from Mold to Chester.
