LOYAL Wrexham supporters queued from the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, July 27) to get their hands on the club's new home kit.

Fans waited patiently to get their hands on the shirt dubbed the “The Red One” after it hit shelves for the first time.

The new Macron home kit was launched on Tuesday (July 26), featuring embossed dragons on the sleeves and reverse, and new sleeve sponsor VistaPrint.

Crafted from Macron’s EcoFabric, the shirt also features TikTok on the front and Expedia on the back, and is on sale now.

The red kit costs £44.95 in adult sizes, £37.50 in children’s sizes and £29.99 for baby sizes.

With queues snaking around from the shop as far back as the Wrexham AFC Community Trust car park, supporter Dai Jones was the first to get his hands on “The Red One”.

Dai – who arrived at the Club Shop at 5.30am – said: “The new shirts are tidy; I love the dragons – they really make it stand out.”

The Club Shop is open until 7.30pm tonight and tomorrow, and supporters can also buy online at shop.wrexhamafc.co.uk

Wrexham themselves are in action today too in a behind-closed-doors friendly v Manchester United at their Carrington training ground.

Even Cristiano Ronaldo is being rumoured to make an appearance during the match.
