YOUNG people in Wrexham are being offered free fitness membership to two gyms this summer.
Those aged between 17 and 24 have been given the offer of free membership at Gwyn Evans Leisure and Activity Centre in Gwersyllt and Queensway Stadium in Caia Park.
With state of the art gyms in both leisure centres, as well as a new outdoor gym, squash courts and athletics track at Queensway; swimming pool and some of the best exercise classes in the area at Gwyn Evans, there is something for everyone to get active this summer.

Richard Milne, area manager for Freedom Leisure in Wrexham, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this free membership throughout the summer to this age group.
"It will allow 17 to 24 year olds within these communities access to fantastic facilities to get active.”

Freedom Leisure in Wrexham operate both Queensway Stadium and Gwyn Evans Leisure and Activity Centre, in partnership with Wrexham Council and have secured funding through the Welsh Government’s Summer of Fun initiative, which will offer free fitness membership for eligible residents until the September 30.
