Wrexham are the clear bookies favourites to win the National League this season, but when do they play their promotion rivals?

The Vanarama National League fixtures were released this morning, with the Reds' starting their campaign at home to Eastleigh on August 6.

After the disappointment of last year, Skybet has Wrexham at 6/4 to win the title outright.

The next five favourites to win the league are Notts County - 13/2, Chesterfield - 8/1, Solihull Moors - 9/1, Dagenham and Redbridge and Torquay United - 16/1.

The games at the top more often than not define the outcome of the season.

Against the top six last year, Wrexham won four, drew two, and lost four, a record they will be hoping to improve this year, but when will they face their 'title rivals'.

Phil Parkinson's side don't have to wait long to face their first stern test when they head to Chesterfield on August 16.

That is followed by Dagenham and Redbridge at the Racecourse on September 13, Torquay at home on September 24, before Notts County away on October 4.

Chesterfield visit the Racecourse on December 13, before a festive double-header over losing play-off finalists Solihull Moors.

Wrexham play host to the Moors on Boxing Day before making the trip to the midlands on New Years Day.

The Reds will look to end their awful run at Dagenham on March 7, before Notts County are at the Racecourse on April 10.

Then on the final day of the season, Wrexham travel to Torquay where the title could potentially be decided.

Out of the ten games the Reds' play against their title rivals, five are on Tuesday nights, two are on Saturday afternoons, two are on Monday's and one is on a Sunday.
