GEMMA Owen was involved in a heated argument in the latest episode of Love Island on Monday night (June 27).

The 19-year-old, who is the daughter of former England and Liverpool striker Michael Owen, has been one of the stars of the popular ITV2 show so far.

But the latest edition saw Gemma clash with fellow contestant and former soap actress Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

The pair came to blows after Dami Hope - showing off his ‘mind reader’ party trick - told Gemma that he felt there was ‘a small chance’ that maybe her head could turn if someone entered the villa who was ‘100% you’.

Gemma, who had been coupled with Luca Bish since week one, said: "That was quite impressive. I don’t think you’re that far off."

But, despite being told to keep that conversation to themselves, Ekin-Su went off to discuss what Dami had just told them with Paige Thorne and Jacques O'Neill. And it wasn't long before Luca caught wind of what had been said.

Gemma, who is an international dressage rider and an entrepreneur, then confronted Ekin-Su about what she had said, telling her to 'concentrate on her own dramas'.

That was followed by the explosive line; "Until then, keep your f**king nose out of it."

Ekin-Su then replied: "Why is it me again? All I did was explain what happened. It’s so easy to blame me in here, isn’t it?"
